Born 1988 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Stephan Panev is a Bulgarian producer, DJ, label owner & live act artist. Also known as Fabrik, Dropstatik, Takt & Fabula. His first vinyl record was released by Michigang, called "The Maniphest" in 2006 representing Stephan's always deep and melodic sound for a first time. First digital record was released by USB Digital in 2008, called "Wake Me Up". Now at age of 21 he has more than 20 EPs, 2 albums and many remixes, released worldwide. His sound varies from Techno and Minimal to Dubstep and Electronica, which makes him quite recognizable. His first album is called "Elephants" and filled with dark techno sounds. It brought him the support of many globetrotting DJs & Producers. The second one, released 2009 and called "Where Do We Go From Here?" takes a completely different approach with almost no dancefloor tracks, but deep & melodic ambient atmosphere. Stephan Panev's most successful tracks are "Aileron", "Tatul" & "F*ck The Neighbors". In 2009 he took the award "Best South-East European Upcoming Artist" by SeeMe Conference. Panev also owns the "Hole" imprint which is a home to all sorts of artists with different vision for electronic music.

Stolen Soul Music was born thanks to the great love of the music of two of the most respected Bulgarian Dj's, Pepo and Electriksoul. The label is owned by the largest booking agency in Bulgaria E-Booking. The main purpose of the label is to issue high quality deep, groovy, tech- house sound of talented artists from around the world. The idea is to issue music mostly from new artists and some artists of the moment, but the whole concept of the label for profiling new visions of the sound of modern house music. Burial, aka Will Bevan, is a dubstep musician from South London, England. His eponymous debut album was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. The Wire magazine named it their album of the year and it came fifth in the Mixmag 2006 Album of the Year list. On Friday, September 28th 2007, a message on the Hyperdub website announced a new Burial album, and Untrue was released 6 weeks later on November 5th. The vinyl and CD releases of the album feature different running orders. Although both albums have been met with much critical acclaim, Burial remained anonymous until August 2008, stating in a past interview that “only five people know I make tunes”. In February 2008, The Independent reported that Burial was an alumnus of south London’s Elliott School named William Bevan (another alumnus, Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, said in 2006 that Burial was in the year above him). The school’s alumni also include Kieran Hebden, with whom Bevan has collaborated.

Moderat are Modeselektor and Apparat. Moderat’s formation began back in 2002 in Berlin, Germany when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the record label Bpitch Control (“Auf Kosten der Gesundheit”). When it came time to begin working on an album, Moderat suddenly broke up. Meanwhile Modeselektor set a milestone in German music history with their sophomore album, Happy Birthday!, including musicians such as Puppetmastaz, Maximo Park and Thom Yorke. Amongst a slew of remixes for the likes of Thom Yorke and Björk, Modeselektor also went on to tour with Radiohead across Japan in 2008. Apparat, on the other hand, moved forward with his album Walls in 2007 (after his collaboration with Ellen Allien on “Orchestra of Bubbles”), taking a musical path that was more band-oriented and kept him on tour for several years running. 2008 saw the reunion of this project and the three members of Moderat went back to the studio to continue working together and finally released their 1st full album “Moderat” in April 2009. This is a monumental ‘audio-visual declaration’ album, which includes ten videos by Berlin’s highly regarded visualists Pfadfinderei.

Swedish techno label managed by Adam Beyer. Sublabels: Code Red, Mad Eye, Truesoul

Part of the surprisingly fertile Swedish techno scene led by the pornophile savants at Svek Records, producer and DJ Adam Beyer concentrates on percussion to a large degree for his appropriately named Drumcode imprint. Begun in mid-1996, the label released a dozen records during the next two years, half by Beyer himself, with others featuring Cari Lekebusch, Oliver Ho and Thomas Krome. Beyer’s first album Decoded was released on Planet Rhythm in late 1996, and the remix album Recoded followed one year later. Another label run by Beyer, Code Red, has released productions by himself, Lekebusch, Krome and Joel Mull. As well, he has recorded for Svek as Concealed Project.

Mauricio Barembuem (a.k.a. Barem) is a young emerging artist from buenos aires, argentina. He was a music student and a guitar enthusiast since the age of 15. By the age of 19, barem was fully dedicated to creating electronic music shortly after a trip to berlin. In 2003, he started djing and performing live sets of minimal techno. Today, Barem's groovy minimal tracks are based around synthetic samples, analog rhythmic elements and hypnotic basslines. Also integrating rhythmic nuances of his native argentinian roots, barem's work is singularly deep, tracky and heady with a timbral sensibility that is intermittently harmonic. Meanwhile, his sound continues to evolve while he cleverly maintains his own unique style.

The brainchild of two fanatical Canadians, Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva, Plus 8 was a label born over fifteen years ago. Resolutely independent and fiercely determined, Plus 8 provided a welcoming stable to forward thinking artists from around the globe, establishing a name for itself as a progressive label that refused to pander to whim or fashion. Always embracing the future, Plus 8 grew with the maturity of its music, keeping with their 12" single roots but also releasing full-length artist albums. The roster is international as is the influence on the collective sound, vision and experience- from records to events. Many of techno's leaders had their debut on Plus 8 - Kenny Larkin, Daniel Bell, Richie Hawtin, Speedy J, Ken Ishii, Born Under a Rhyming Planet (Jamie Hodge), Theorem and others. The compilation series 'From Our Minds To Yours' and 'Blueprints For Modern Technology' helped establish the label to wider audiences in addition to full-length albums from FUSE, the Kooky Scientist, Legion of Green Men and Plastikman. 2010 marks the 20th anniversary for Plus 8.

A perennial favorite as the best DJ in the world according to fans as well as the major mixing magazines, Carl Cox has been a part of Britain’s dance scene from the heady days of disco through to the global clubland of the new millennium, with temporary pit stops covering hip-hop, the rare groove movement, and the immense rave revolution of the late ’80s. That large span of time has undoubtedly affected his choice of records, since Cox routinely detours through breakbeat, Italian house, and the dance mainstream during his usual sets of hard techno. Perhaps the best testament to his mixing skills is his immense popularity despite his focus on music much more intense than the brand of arena trance spawned by Oakenfold, Sasha, Digweed, and others. Cox was born in Oldham in 1962, to parents originally from Barbados (they later moved back after he grew up). Cox began DJing family get-togethers at the age of eight, selecting records from his parents’ stack of soul 45s. He was buying his own records soon after, and owned his first pair of turntables at the age of 15. The rest of his teens was spent making spare money at any event he could DJ; though Cox studied electrical engineering in college, he quit after six months and began working various jobs until he could become a full-time DJ
